For this concept I wanted to focus on the iconic elements of the hook, similar to how other iconic movie villains are known and recognized by their signature weapons.

This concept focuses on the group of friends being terrorized throughout the movie- a nod to pretty much every other classic horror movie. It was important, however, to include Johnny lurking in the background as a nice hidden detail

This concept was a riff on VHS tape cover designs. The idea was that this new movie villain was filling the shoes of iconic slasher movie villains of the past, thus an older style mimicking those in the past was used./ mask
Similar to the weapon concept, this was created as a way to emphasize Johnny's mask, similar to how Michael Myers, Jason, and Ghostface are all instantly recognized by their respective masks.ORIGIN \
This concept aims to set the tone for the movie, conveying the shack where the opening scene takes place, leaving suspense for what the villain looks like.

This poster was created to emphasize Johnny's connection with nature, and to establish the tone of the film to come, emphasizing the forest as a character of its ownsilhouette /
Creating such a large silhouette from the trees symbolizes again- Johnny’s connection to the woods, as well as emphasizes his looming presence throughout the film.
